THe close embrace of the two abstracted and interlocking figures is pierced by a shared toothpick (unlike Trotsky who was murdered with an ice-pick). Their interlocking horns pierce each other in their ideological cuddle. They are bound together in death for eternity.
The black and red are the anarchist traditional colours.
This painting is a commentary on the efficacy of Anarchism as a political posture.
