This image was possibly the first politically-charged art work made by the artist. The illusion is that the mindae (few days) train, now ironically adorned with the colours of the African National Congress (ANC) was fast approaching…
(Mindae also references the welcoming of the termination of the strict time limitation of white male conscription. The artist was in the military in 1971-72)
