The young are always the fodder for the military. The prospect of adventure en-thralls young boys and they have always played out belligerent scenarios. This young lad proudly salutes and is being prepared to play his part. In contemporary society children and particularly little boys incessantly play war games on computers and have become frighteningly inured to violence. Many child soldiers have recently been utilised in conflicts around the world. They are effective as they seem to not have consciences that are yet fully developed.
