Drawing based on Titian’s painting of ‘Venus Emerging from the Sea’ with face replaced by a colour reproduction of Leonardo’s Mona Lisa.

A critique on how contemporary society, particularly the advertising industry, places value and capitalizes on recognizable cult figures. The coloured print is appropriated back to the visual art arena from an advertisement.
